Cars are an essential part of everyday life, yet many drivers are not equipped to perform even basic roadside maintenance.

During long journeys, this lack of preparedness can turn a minor issue into a major disruption.

A well-planned wheel swap kit can help you on your road trip.
Safety Necessities
Cars with spare tires come with the bare minimum of a jack and a wrench. This kit supplements the necessary safety measures, including a flatboard, chocks, warning triangles, and gloves.

Chocks
Prevent unwanted rolling for extra security.

Flat board
Stabilize the jack and prevent slipping on uneven ground.

Warning Triangles
Warn oncoming cars and prevent collisions.

Compact Packing
Maximize trunk space on a trip.

Understanding the System
Mapping the vehicle-driver system helped me locate where there are opportunities for improvement.

Generative Research
Through interviews and mapping exercises, I uncovered a problem space where the necessary task does not exceed comfort levels and is within the bounds of accessibility for drivers.
